How we help others

Here’s a selection of challenges where WHAM has helped its clients:

  • Animal rights: balancing the narrative
  • Asbestos: reassuring the community
  • Brands: create and grow
Woburn Apartments

WHAM was hired by The Masonic Villages Trust to market the boutique retirement community, Woburn Apartments. All apartments were sold on time and within budget.

  • Charitable aged-care: marketing and brand building
  • Chemical residues: improving farmer behaviour, changing the public narrative
  • Council zoning: mobilising public opinion
Rongotai Revived

Rongotai Revived was a campaign devised and managed by WHAM to make residents aware of an unwise council zoning change. Public pressure driven by the campaign persuaded the council to change its plan

  • Crisis management: reducing forest workplace deaths
  • Factory closures: minimising the fall-out, retaining loyal customers and staff
  • Practice change: helping farmers and forest owners improve their environmental and social performance
  • Risk management: preventing sensitive issues from becoming crises
  • Spray drift: helping kiwifruit growers address public concerns
  • Staff dishonesty: fess-up, clean-up, move on
