Trevor Walton APR, is a principal of WHAM Public Relations, and the firm's chief consultant.
Formerly an award-winning journalist, Trevor has written for many of New Zealand's leading daily papers, business weeklies and magazines. He has edited numerous trade magazines and has fronted radio and television news programmes.
Trevor is a Dip VFM graduate of Lincoln University and is an Associate in Public Relations (by examination) of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand. He was elected a Fellow of the Institute in 2002 and was vice-president from 2000-2002. In 2008, Trevor and Angie Fussell were jointly awarded the prestigious Deer Industry Award for making an "unparalleled 30 year contribution" to the farmed deer industry.
Away from work, he's an eager landscaper, lover of the blues and theatre, rugby supporter, fisher of trout, scuba diver, frequenter of the back country and indulger of grand-children.
